Giddyup! We made an offer and it was accepted. We are picking up our 2000 Hunter 170 this week. Just in time for the winter rains and a nice wet sail on Saturday. I may have to skip work on Friday...

Congratulations on the new boat! There's a couple not to far from me who races one of those on the "lake circuit." Fun and comfy from what I hear.
Very excited about it. It's forecast to rain all weekend and it will NOT dampen our spirits, let alone our determination to get out and sail. :)

Years ago, we had a 15-foot daysailer something like that and one of the coolest things we did with it was take it to the San Juans for a month.
It was the perfect boat for gunkholing those islands.
