Opening Day 2009 Follow-up

This pic from my friend Renee, who's house I tried to take a picture of when I was sailing.

It's easier to pick out my boat on the water, than it was her house on the hill.

That's the coolest thing ever! I love getting my picture taken while I am sailing. I never get to see what other people see when they see me.

And that is a beautiful looking place where you sail. I can hear the apples falling from the trees, the kids laughing, and the birds chirping...

I think you nailed it, Redwing. It's very cool to get a shot from somebody else's perspective. I'll have to be sure to take more pics of other people sailing and send them around.

It's a nice little spot to sail, too. It gets a good little wind, even when things are kinda calm elsewhere. :)

Hey Greg, some weird blog called "surfer on dry land" has nicked your photo ;)

Hope life treating you and Kris well.

Life's good! I'm in the middle of an adventure right now. Moored in downtown Portlnd and trying to decide if I should attempt tacking back upriver or just carry on for the next boatramp. :)

Is that a bit of iPhone blogging?

I guess it kinda was. I was sitting on that PFD pier, killing time, waiting for Shannon the Real Sailor to show up. So those pictures were posted live. Beautiful day!
